Instruction in accordance with the rules of the DGUV principle 308.008 of the German statutory accident insurance (DGUV). It defines the basic requirements and recommendations for the safe operation of aerial work platforms, cranes and lifting platformsystems.
The applicable regulation includes regulations for the construction, maintenance and inspection of these devices as well as for the training and qualification of the operators. It also describes the necessary protective measures for the operation of aerial work platforms, industrial trucks and crane systems, including the use of protective devices and personal protective equipment.
The aim of DGUV principle 308.008 is to ensure the safety of operators and other people who are in the vicinity of these devices. It ensures that everyone involved is adequately protected when using these devices to avoid accidents. For each area there are instructions on how to drive the respective device.
Your employees who drive/work with aerial work platforms, industrial trucks and cranes but cannot provide evidence of the necessary basic training.
