EASA Annex 1 (Part M) defines measures to continue the airworthiness. These regulatory requirements for airworthiness need to be fulfilled and a safe operation needs to be ensured. In order to be recognized as a continuing airworthiness organization, EASA Part-M has applied to commercial aircraft maintenance organizations since September 2005.
From this moment on aviation companies can acquire their own approval as a CAMO in accordance with EASA Part-M Subsection G of Regulation (EU) No. 1321/2014.
We prepare your organization for the regulatory approval, such as:
Continuing airworthiness / Requirements for the airworthiness and maintenance
For aircrafts that are used in commercial transportation of passengers and freights, the operator is responsible for the continuing airworthiness. The operator, if approved as an EASA Annex 2 (Part-145) maintenance organization, is allowed to execute the required work itself. Alternatively, an approved third-party organization can be ordered, a so-called CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation).
